Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive at Dimapur

On arrival, you will be met by our representative at Dimapur airport or railway station who will assist you with check in at the hotel. Post refreshment, we shall visit the Kachari Ruin site and further proceed to Diezephe Village or the Handicraft Village. Later come back to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 02 Dimapur - Benreu

Post breakfast, we shall drive to Benreu Village en route which we shall visit Peren Village where we will enjoy lunch. After having lunch, we will head out to Pelekie Village, which is famous for making indigenous salt. After stopping here for sometime, we will continue driving to Benreu Village. On arrival, check in at the community lodge and explore the village where we shall see Morung - a traditional yet informal institution where oral histories and traditions are passed from generation to generations. You will also come across few hunting trophies of wild animals hanging in front of their doors and shall have the opportunity to witness the Zeliang Naga dance performance here. Dinner and an vernight stay at Benreu Village.

Day 03 Benreu – Khonoma Village

Today, after the breakfast, we will drive to Dzülekie, which is a small village of around 40 households. On reaching Dzülekie, (depending upon the season) we will participate in the traditional way of fishing and have picnic lunch. After the lunch, we shall drive towards Khonoma, which is reckoned to be the first Green Village of the country. On the way to Khonoma from Dzulekie, we will take a halt for a while to see the State animal, Mithun, which is often seen grazing on the wayside. Further proceed to Khonoma Village. Dinner and an overnight stay at Khonoma Home stay.

Day 04 Khonoma Village Sightseeing

After breakfast today, we will head out to explore Khonoma Village, which houses a 27 sq kms territory of Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary (KNCTS). At Khonoma you shall be able to explore the culture, history and nature in one place. We shall be witnessing ceremonial gates, morung, cairn circles, forts, historical sites and age group house. Also, we will get the opportunity to meet the local craftsmen that are skilled in weaving shawls and making cane baskets. Post lunch, we will visit the terrace fields and learn a thing or two about terrace cultivation. In the evening, we shall witness some local games demonstrated by the local youth and thereafter we will get to try the locally prepared brew. Dinner and an overnight stay at Khonoma Homestay.

Day 05 Khonoma Village - Kohima

In the morning today, after the breakfast, we will leave for Kohima. Today our visit will be to the State Museum, World War II Cemetery, local bazar, Sale Emporium, Kohima Village where we shall see few remains of the war during 1940s. Post lunch, we will visit Kisama Village, where the famed Hornbill festival takes place every year. At this heritage site, we shall witness traditional houses of all the major tribes built in unique designs. Next, we will visit Kigwema village where General Sato of the Japanese army stayed during the WWII. Dinner and an overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 06 Kohima - Tuophema

Today, we will leave for Tuophema village after the breakfast. On arrival, we will enjoy lunch served on a huge table made out of a log. Post lunch, we will explore the village and meet the local people. In the evening, we will witness women folk performance about how the Nagas spin cotton. Dinner and an overnight stay in Tuophema Community Cottages.


Day 07 Tuophema - Dimapur, Departure from Dimapur

Next morning after having breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to Dimapur. Later our representative will transfer you to Dimapur Airport/Station to connect your onward journey.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under. 
  • Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
  • Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
  • Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
  • Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

  • From 20-16 Days :  50%
  • From 15-07 Days :  75%

Refund Policy :

  • Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

  • Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
  • All rates are valid for Indian national only.
  • The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
  • Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
  • If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
  • Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
  • Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
  • Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.

Special Notes

  • Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
  • There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
  • Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
  • Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. 
  • The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
