A tour of Rajasthan is never complete without exploring the hustle-bustle and the rich cultural heritage of Jodhpur. The graceful palaces, monuments and temples strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur and royalty of Jodhpur. Lending a romantic aura to Jodhpur are its beautiful lakes where you can take a boat ride while watching the moonlit forts. There is plenty to see and do in Jodhpur. The mighty Mehrangarh Fort is the star attraction of this city, among other forts and palaces. The blue coloured houses surrounding the Mehrangarh Fort lend the name, 'Blue City' to Jodhpur. Today we visit Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Jaswant Thada, Balsamand Lake / Kailana Lake, Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, Mandore Gardens, Clock Tower. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at desert camp.
After breakfast, our representative will take you to Jaisalmer Sand Dunes (310 km / 5 Hrs). About 40km away are the Sam Sand Dunes of the Thar desert that give you a chance to spend a night on the brown sands, go on a camel safari and watch the sun melt into the dunes. You’ll have to check into a desert camp and stay overnight in a tent. Around 5pm the camp organisers take you on a camel safari which lasts for a mere 15 minutes.
The dunes are a perfect place to watch the sun go home and vanish into the earth as they cast their golden glow on the sand. It is a truly surreal experience. But getting on and off a camel is not as easy as it looks so it is better to be careful and hold on tight. It’s best to check with the guide how to balance yourself while the camel is sitting and getting up. When you’re back in the camp, spend time watching a traditional Rajasthani performance and get a peek into their culture. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at desert camp.
After breakfast, check out from the camp and transfer to Jaisalmer city. Today we visit very popular places of Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer Fort, Bada Bagh, Patwon Ki Haveli, The Thar Heritage Museum, Gadisar Lake, Desert Nation Park. After your tour enjoy the evening at leisure. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, Today we have to take our longest journey in entire tour. It's Jaisalmer to Jaipur (570 km / 9 hrs). In between our journey towards Jaipur, We take a short break at Pushkar to visit Brahmaji Temple & Pushkar Lake. In evening, check - in to hotel, take rest and be ready to explore pink city of Rajasthan next morning. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, we visit Pink City, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Raj Mandir Theatre.
The capital of the state, Jaipur is also the largest city in the princely state of Rajasthan. It was founded in 1727, by the Kachwaha Rajput Ruler Sawai Jaisingh II, who was the ruler of Amber. Also known by the nickname ‘Pink City of India’ which is due to the distinctive saffron or pink color of the buildings. The planning of the city was done according to the Vedic Vastu Shastra (Indian architecture). The well planned streets and detailed and artistic architecture make it one of the top preferred tourist locations. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, our representative will take you to Ranthambore (170 km / 3 hrs).
Ranthambore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include the Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries.
Today we visit Ranthambore National Park, Ranthambore Fort, Kachida Valley, Raj Bagh Ruins, Surwal Lake (25 km from Ranthambore). Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, we visit Kumbhalgarh Fort. Kumbhalgarh is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand district near Udaipur of Rajasthan state in western India. It is a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha.
Later our representative will take you to Udaipur. After arrival in Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Overnight stay and dinner in Udaipur hotel.
After breakfast, we start to explore the City of Lakes. Today we visit Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Jag Mandir Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Bagore ki Haveli.
Later transfer to Udaipur Station/Airport for your further journey. Tour ends with some beautiful memories of Rajasthan.
