Itinerary

Day 01 ARRIVE AT HELSINKI, CANAL ROUTE CRUISE

Arrival at Helsinki Airport meet our representative and get transferred to your hotel in Helsinki. Check-in to hotel and relax. After a short rest at your room we suggest a refreshing walk in surrounding downtown area.

Beautiful Canal Route -Cruise on summer season (1.5.-30.9.) You have a great chance to see Helsinki from the sea by a sightseeing boat along the Beautiful Canal Route. Present your Helsinki Card at the Strömma Pier on the Market Place for a free cruise latest 15 minutes before the departure. The Sightseeing boats for the Beautiful Canal Route leave regularly for a 1,5 hrs cruise to the archipelago of Helsinki. There is commentary and a cafeteria on board. Dinner at Indian restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 HELSINKI SIGHTSEEING

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. The attractive capital of Finland is situated by the Baltic Sea, boasting a 100km shoreline and around 330 offshore islands. It is relaxed with plenty of character, compact enough to explore comfortably under your own steam. The Fortress of Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is just a 15 minute ferry ride away from Helsinki Market Square on a beautiful island and is a popular place to visit. See examples of neoclassical architecture in the much-photographed Senate Square; numerous Art Nouveau buildings, the most famous being the central railway station, and many modernist creations by the world renowned architect, Alvar Aalto. Helsinki’s architecture, punctuated by numerous parks and gardens, inviting bistros and cafes as well as the buzz that always surrounds the area by the harbour, combine to make this a lovely place to begin your trip. Day 03 LOCAL SIGHTSEEING, HELSINKI - STOCKHOLM by CRUISE

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Morning and early afternoon in Helsinki, then make your way to the port in time for your overnight cruise to Stockholm. Set sail at 17:00, enjoying an extended sunset, its magical light reflecting off the calm waters. Watch the lights of the city fade as the Silja Symphony or Silja Serenade sails out through the archipelago then head below deck to a wide central promenade where you’ll find Duty Free shops and entertainment, and enjoy dinner before retiring to your cabin.

Day 04 STOCKHOLM SIGHTSEEING

Breakfast on board. Arrive in the Swedish capital around 09:30, and get transferred to your hotel. Start your visit of Stockholm, often referred to as the ‘Venice of the North’, at Fjällgatan. Here you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Swedish capital, spread out on 14 islands with Lake Mälar on one side and the Baltic Sea on the other. Afterwards walk through the picturesque narrow cobble-stoned alleys of the Old Town and stop by the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, and the city hall, where the annual Nobel Prize Award is held. Round off the day with a visit to the Vasa Museum. Dinner at Indian restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 STOCKHOLM SIGHTSEEING

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. With 14 islands connected via a network of waterways and more than 50 bridges, Stockholm is known as ‘the Venice of the north’ and is undoubtedly one of the world’s most beautiful capitals. Stroll around the narrow cobbled streets of Gamla Stan, the old town with one of the best preserved medieval city centers; visit the Royal Palace and Stockholm Cathedral; and enjoy a wealth of shopping and sightseeing opportunities. Be like a Swede and take a ‘fika’, a coffee break Swedish style - coffee followed by something sweet to eat. Take a trip to the island of Djurgården, home to the impressively preserved warship Vasa; visit Skansen, the oldest open-air museum in the world or Astrid Lindgren’s Junibacken. For something a little more up-beat, visit Abba The Museum, an interactive exhibition about the famous pop band. Perhaps take a boat trip amongst Stockholm’s stunning archipelago with 30,000 islands, islet rocks and skerries. And definitely enjoy the Swedish cuisine! Dinner at Indian restaurant. Day 06 STOCKHOLM - OSLO by TRAIN

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Sit back and enjoy the scenic 6 hour journey by train, passing farmland, lakes, picturesque towns and villages. The direct train departs at 08.29 or 15.25. Make your way to the hotel and spend two nights in Oslo. Dinner at Indian restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 OSLO SIGHTSEEING

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Conveniently located on Oslo fjord, means Norway’s capital boasts the best of the city life as well as wonderful nature on its doorstep. Explore the medieval Akershus Fortress and the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park; visit the Fram Museum, dedicated to the strongest wooden, Polar ship ever built, or climb the impressive structure at Holmenkollen ski museum, and enjoy spectacular views from the top of the jump. The ever popular Aker Brygge area, with its mix of distinctive buildings reclaimed from its shipyard heritage and impressive modern architecture, has a lively harbour-front boardwalk and a wealth of outdoor dining and entertainment venues. From here, take a fjord cruise, an evening live music boat trip or even a Pirate cruise, always a family favorite. Dinner at Indian restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 OSLO - COPENHAGEN by CRUISE

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Morning at leisure, then make your way to the harbour (payable locally) in time for the overnight sailing to Copenhagen, departing at 16:30. Stay overnight in a cabin, aboard a DFDS ship complete with a variety of dining and entertainment facilities.  Dinner at Indian restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 COPENHAGEN SIGHTSEEING

Breakfast on board. Arrive in Copenhagen around 09:45, and get transferred to your hotel. Start your visit of Stockholm, often referred to as the ‘Venice of the North’, at Fjällgatan. Day 10 COPENHAGEN SIGHTSEEING

Full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Denmark’s capital has a ‘small and friendly’ appeal and is easy to explore. See the statue of The Little Mermaid, visit the 100 year old amusement park, Tivoli Gardens and take a guided tour of Christiania, the ‘freetown’ beloved of creative types with its interesting architecture, cheap eats and live music. Nyhavn is a 17th Century waterfront area full of brightly coloured houses and a bewildering choice of lively bars and restaurants. The pedestrian shopping street, Strøget, has something for everyone and there are some impressively regal palaces to visit; Amalienborg, the main residence of the Queen of Denmark, is considered to be one of the greatest works of Danish Rococco architecture, and the daily changing of the guard here is always popular. Day 11 DEPARTURE FROM COPENHAGEN

After breakfast, explore nearby places or go for shopping. Later Check-out from your hotel and transfer to Copenhagen Airport – Kastrup  as per your flight time for your further journey.

Travel Documents

  • Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of tour arrival along with sufficient blank pages for the stamping of visa

  • Schengen visa required for Indian passport holder. You need to obtain sticker visa from embassy before your travel to Europe / Scandinavian country.

Payment Terms

  • Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
  • You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under. 
  • Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
  • Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
  • Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
  • Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

  • From 30-22 Days :  25%
  • From 20-16 Days :  50%
  • From 15-07 Days :  75%
  • From 06-00 Days :  100%

Refund Policy :

  • Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

  • The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
  • Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
  • Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
  • All rates are valid for Indian national only.
  • The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
  • Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
  • If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
  • Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
  • Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
  • Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
  • Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
  • Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

  • Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
  • There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
  • Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
  • Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. 
  • The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
